New Firefox update is available

Thank you for your post, Hans. However, I do not have that option (v. 55.0.3), but, Pale Moon does list plugins.hide_infobar_for_outdated_plugin. Will see if that works in FF....

No, still got the popup in FF.

Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter.
Accept the risk, if asked.
Scroll down to app.update.auto.
Double-click it to set its value to false.
Perhaps also set app.update.enabled to false.

Hans - what worked is setting app.update.enabled to false
(app.update.auto. was already set to false)
