Been unsuccessful in finding an Addon that keeps scroll position after pressing on a link and returning to the (previous) page. Would find this extremely helpful when Seaching....
Thank you

Re: Scroll position
I find that clicking the Back key usually takes me back to the previous position within the previous page.
Apart from that, you could Ctrl + click a link to open it in a new tab.

Re: Scroll position
Thanks, Hans. Back key does take me back to previous page but not to position where I 'left' the page. It does do that in Pale Moon...
Clicking to a new tab is for me rather burdensome.

Re: Scroll position
I'm afraid that, like you, I haven't been able to find an add-on that does what you want.
Best wishes,
Hans

Re: Scroll position
Strange! I run Firefox. When I follow a link then press the 'go back one page' button, it returns me to the exact spot I was at on the previous page. (Maybe I misinterpret your issue)
If you have programmable buttons on your mouse, you could assign one to simulate a middle-click to open a link in a new tab (or click the scroll wheel). Eliminates a whole lot of burdensome!

Re: Scroll position
Thanks for idea, Paul.
But hitting Back after this doesn't take me back to prior page...curious wrote:you could assign one to simulate a middle-click to open a link in a new tab (or click the scroll wheel).

Re: Scroll position
No, if you have opened a link in a new tab, you must either close the new tab, or switch back to the original tab, which will be in the exact position where you left it.
Best wishes,
Hans
