Righttoclick alternative

Post by uncle »

(FF 42, Windows 7)

Hello -

I cannot get RightToClick to work for me and haven't found any similar app when searching. Is there something out there I have missed?

Thank you.

AlternativeTo does not list any alternatives for this add-on...

In my searches I did come across this advice, but since I do not use FF, I cannot confirm if it is viable?

I have moved this thread to the Firefox forum, since it is about Firefox add-ons.
Best wishes,

Probably not. The main page for that FF add-on says:
Last Updated: November 29, 2015
That's ancient in browser terms so it's highly likely it's just not compatible with the latest FF, which is FF46.0.1 by the way so you ought to update your FF42.

Thanks, Ken. I know FF 46 is most recent but I use Close other tabs by double clicking and coolPreviews daily, which is not allowed in the more recent versions.

Your suspicion was correct, Rudi. That choice is no longer available.

A right click on a tab followed by a left click on the option to 'close other tabs' is not a 'double click' but it is still only two clicks

There doesn't seem to be an alternative to coolPreviews but given FF does not allow it I guess there are security implications associated with it.

Ken - you are right, of course. I misnamed the app. All one need do is click (once) on the icon and poof - all tabs are closed.
