New Tab???

Firefox 44.0.2 is installed on Win 7 on this machine. When I click on the "+" in the upper right corner and get a new tab, things are a bit different. Apparently there have been some changes and there are things that can be customized on a new tab window.

I have one web page that seems to be docked at the left side of a new tab window. I cannot find any controls that allow me to un-dock it and view it full screen.

Has anyone else experienced this? Did you solve the problem? How?

Have you clicked the Tools button in the upper right corner of the new tab page?
