Script error

Post by Dave Davison »

The attached message frequently flashes on the screen when I am surfing the net and tends to freeze the screen and the only way I can proceed is to open the Task Manager where I am able to close the session & unfreeze the screen. What might be the cause and how can it be prevented please? If I click on the "Debugger" tab I get masses of code that means nothing to me and there is no hint on screen as to how to proceed. Thanks Dave.

Moatads is a "tracker" that tries to keep track of your surfing behavior. The easiest way to get rid of it is to install an ad-blocker in your browser, e.g. AdBlock Plus.

Please also run a full scan with your favorite anti-virus software, and with Malwarebytes Antimalware (the free version is sufficient).
Best wishes,
Hans

I'd run MalwareBytes Anti-Malware.
