Something has happened to my Firefox. When I log into the Lounge, I now get a message "Firefox has prevented this page automatically redirecting to another page". I have to click an Allow button to get it to display the new page.
I can't find an option to turn this feature off - is there one, please?
Thanks
Silverback.
(It'll happen after I Submit this post - I'll have to click the Allow button again)

Re: Redirection problem
Select Tools > Options...
If you have a recent version of Firefox, you can click the "menu" button on the right hand side, and click Options instead.
Activate the Advanced tab of the Options dialog.
Clear the check box "Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page".
Click OK.

Re: Redirection problem
Hi silverback, are you using an old bookmark to get access? if so, try renewing it.

Re: Redirection problem
Sorry for the delay in answering. It's Hans' option 'what done it'. I tried a new bookmark and had the same problem. Unticking the option mentioned by Hans did the trick. What I can't understand is that I haven't played with this option - at least if I did it was a very long time ago, and the message/error has only just started happening since I installed Firefox 30. It seems that either installing F30 set this option during installation or it had already been set by me many moons ago and Firefox v30 has started taking notice of it.Claude wrote:What's the solution ?

Re: Redirection problem
I don't think the behavior of Firefox has changed in this respect in version 30. We'll probably never know what caused the problem to start.
Best wishes,
Hans
