I know that this has been discussed before, but I cannot find the thread.
Recently, Firefox started behaving differently than it had before. I have it set to open with specific tabs open one of which is Eileen's Lounge. Until fairly recently, I was not required to log in to the Lounge after closing and restarting Firefox. This change might date to the last upgrade to Fx 27.0.1 but I cannot be certain.
I run CCleaner daily. It is set to save the cookies from Eileen's Lounge and several other sites I visit regularly enough that logging in becomes tiresome. I have the box on the login page checked that allows me to be logged in automatically each time I visit the page.
What else should I check?
TIA

Re: Why Do I Have to Log In after Closing and Reopening Fire
Hi Bob,
I don't use FF, so I cannot provide solid advice, but have a look at this thread and it's supporting links.
It seems to have resolved the issues of the original poster.
Another alternative is to try this FF Add-In?

Something must be deleting the Lounge cookie when you close Firefox, because the cookie is where your logon status is stored.
Start Firefox and click the Firefox button, then select Options > Options.
Alternatively, if you display the menu bar, select Tools > Options.
Activate the Privacy tab.
Check the settings for cookies.

Re: Why Do I Have to Log In after Closing and Reopening Fire
Thank you, gentlemen!
I changed my settings and restarted Fx. The second time behavior returned to my expected norm, and I did not have to log in.
I don't remember changing my settings for cookies. I wonder if a recent upgrade reset my options or if senility has once again reared its ugly head.
