Re: Update: Firefox 27.0 released
P.S. the Chrome-like Australis interface, which was originally due for release in 2012 (and which has been implemented in Mozilla Thunderbird since August of that year) has been delayed yet again. Mozilla now intends to release it in Firefox 29 (end of April) or 30 (in June).

What am I reading wrong here?HansV wrote:P.S. the Chrome-like Australis interface, which was originally due for release in 2012 (and which has been implemented in Mozilla Thunderbird since August of that year) has been delayed yet again. Australis interface? What is it?
You said it has been implemented in TB in 2012. ( but not in use? ) How do I recognize it?
Mozilla intends to release it in Fx 19 or 20, but we are already in Fx 27.
I know I have to be taking this into my brain cloud wrong, somehow.

I must admit that I too got a bit fuzzy brained after reading thatviking33 wrote:What am I reading wrong here?HansV wrote:P.S. the Chrome-like Australis interface, which was originally due for release in 2012 (and which has been implemented in Mozilla Thunderbird since August of that year) has been delayed yet again. I just didn't bother querying it as I do not use FireFox.
See the interface here: http://www.digitaltrends.com/computing/ ... r-october/
It looks a lot like Chrome!

Re: Update: Firefox 27.0 released
Sorry Bob, I should have written 29 or 30 instead of 19 or 20. I have corrected my reply (and accidentally marked yours as edited, sorry about that - I didn't change anything).
Thunderbird nowadays has rounded tabs, resembling those of Chrome.
while Firefox 27 still has square tabs:
Firefox will get rounded tabs too, "soon". This has been the situation more than a year and a half now - "soon"...
