Firefox starting page
We have our own starter page, which is supposed to open when Firefox is started. However this seems to have been usurped by http://search.us.com/?guid=" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;{0399FD4C-BC64-4B84-B841-7D8266433033}&serpv=5 which has a logo Search us.com on it. Three times I've re-set this to our starter page this morning. This is soo frustrating. Can anybody point me in the direction of a registry key I can edit please?

Re: Firefox starting page
That is malware.
Step 1:
Click the Firefox button.
Click Add-Ons.
Click Extensions.
If you see Search.us here, select it and click Disable.
Click Plug-ins.
If you see Search.us here, select it then select Never Activate from the dropdown.
Quit Firefox.
Step 2:
Open the Programs and Features control panel (or Add/Remove Programs if you have Windows XP).
Look for Search.us.
If it's listed, uninstall it.
Step 3:
Download and install the Search Reset add-in in Firefox. This will reset your search engines, home page etc.
Step 4:
Set the home page the way you want.
