I'm having a bit of a torrid time at the moment and now have a sub-form that is fighting me; it's not allowing records to be added.
I'm fairly certain it's a pretty basic error, but I can't find it.
Here's the offending article.

Open the subform in design view.
Select the ID text box.
Set its Control Source to ID instead of tblSub.ID (you can select it from the dropdown list).
Close & save the subform.
That's it! Because the Control Source was not equal to ID, the subform couldn't be linked to the main form on ID.
