Database & Phone App Interfacing

Hi,

I have a database that I have been asked about the possibility of building an app which can allow the user to remotely interface with the database from their phone/tablet.

Is anyone aware of or have any recommendations on a software and/or coding language for me to look into which would support this?

Hi Hans,

Thank you for your reply. I currently use Splashtop to remotely access my databases from a phone or tablet but I find that it can be difficult at times to utilize the database, especially from a phone when I don't have a mouse to be able to move the cursor on my laptop to where I want it in the access database. What I am really looking for is if there is easy to use software or a recommended coding language that I could learn which would allow me to create a simple to use mobile application which would interface with the database that would not require me to use third-party software such as Splashtop.
