Hello. (SQL Server 2008 Express)
(I'm not sure if the version I have is 2008 or 2010. The splash screen says 2008 but the folder it lives in contains a 10 in the folder name.)
The databases shown in the Object Explorer differ to the ones I have in the folder:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.SQLEXPRESS\MSSQL\DATA
In particular, I used SQL to create a database called Staff but then renamed it to Staff Database in the Object Explorer. But it is still named
Staff in the above folder.
How can I make the two lists agree? Thanks, Andy.

Re: SQL Server database list
I think you'll have to do this manually. See How to rename a SQL Server database, in particular Option 3.
Best wishes,

Re: SQL Server database list
Thank you. Good to know this is 'normal' behaviour.
