Hi,
I have a included a sub form in a standard from, where I've included a command button to save the data from the standard form and the sub form to the appropriate tables.
But when the command button is run; only the data in the data from standard form does gets copied into the tables but not the data in the sub form.
How could I save the data from both the forms to the appropriate tables by clickcing one button simultaneously?
Save data from both forms simultaneously

Re: Save data from both forms simultaneously
The databases that you've attached in earlier threads have (sub)forms bound to a table or query.
In Access, there is no real need for a button to save a record in a bound (sub)form. Access will save the current record automatically when the user moves to another record or closes the form.

Re: Save data from both forms simultaneously
Thank for the reply Hans. As you've suggested with a database in a previous post the suggestion seems to work.
