Query Calculation

Post by matthewR »

I have a query that I have rolled up to the client level as far as it will go. I have a "number of contracts" column that I want to total for the client. Right now if a client appears 3 times the contracts are spread out among the 3 same client numbers. I attached what it looks like in the query. I want a calculation that would total contracts for the client so that along with the contracts being spread between the 3 like clients, I would want a column that totals the contracts for the client so the calculation column would have 3 totals of the same amount. So if there are 4 , 3 and 10 - the calculated column would have 17, 17, 17. Can this be done?

An Excel worksheet doesn't really help if you need assistance with an Access query. Moreover, there is no "number of contracts" column in the worksheet, so I'm in the dark here, sorry.
Best wishes,
