Power Point Chart Excel File

Dear All,

May i know what is the trick on how to do the power point chart excel data link to my other workbook excel data.

- Activate the Excel workbook.
- Select the chart.
- Press Ctrl+C or click the Copy button on the Home tab of the ribbon.
- Activate the PowerPoint presentation.
- Click the lower half of the Paste button on the Home tab of the ribbon.
- Select Paste Special...
- Select Paste Link.
- Click OK.

If you are using Office 2010 or Office 2013, you just need to paste using the standard paste button (or CTRL+V).
A chart will always paste by default in these versions with a link to the source Excel file.

You can use the Smart Tag to change the paste format once the chart is on the slide.

The screenshot below shows the default paste setting which is using the Destination slide colour scheme and linking tot he Excel source.

Thanks a a lot for the info sharing .At last make me clearer on how to do my slide linkage.
