converting PPS to video
Trying to find a free way to convert a pps file into a video file. Eventually it will go to a DVD. Any ideas?

If you want a one-stop solution to convert a PowerPoint presentation to a video DVD, you'll probably have to pay - all free solutions that I found in a Google search involve two or three separate applications.
Best wishes,

I have had reasonable success by rehearsing the timeings, saving as a show and the using the free CAMSTUDIO the size can be a bit large, I just recorded about 3 minutes of screen activity because I have not used it for a while and the output file was 32.5mb. If you want to make it smaller or convert it for U Tube, iPhone and many other formats you can use the free Any Video Converter, I converted my test file to MPEGII format and it was reduced to 8.75mb.

PS; The free AVC is about a 1/3 down the page
