Month in Pivot Table

I currently have a Pivot Table, the report filter is "Date".
When filter is clicked the options are as followed:
01/01/2011
01/01/2011
01/01/2011
01/01/2011
01/01/2011
01/02/2011
01/02/2011
01/02/2011
etc...

Is there anyway to have a date filter that will allow me to sort by "Month"? Like the filter in Access.
January
February
etc..

I don't understand why dates are repeated - a pivot table should at least group by day. Do your date values include a time component?

Anyway, to group: move the Date field to the Row Labels area.
Right-click a date, and select Group... from the popup menu.
Group by months (or by months and by years).
Then move the Date field back into the Report Filter area.
