Conditional formatting

Post by Jeanette »

Hi there
I've made this price comparison sheet. It was made in 2003 but I now use 2007.

For manufacturers.. cheapest in green, 2nd cheapest in brown etc...

However, I only have a few prices for one of the suppliers which means that the cheapest shows up as 2nd cheapest.. because this supplier shows up as $0 and excel rightfully assumes it is the cheapest.

Any suggestions what I do about that ?? I don't want to delete the $0 because they are linked..

Hope it makes sense.

Thanks

Would it be feasible to use formulas such as =IF(OtherSheet!A1="","",OtherSheet!A1) ? This would avoid zero values in link formulas.
Best wishes,
Hans
