I am using documents to go on my portable device (Ipad). I can transfer the spreadsheets just fine through 'Dropbox' , but I don't see any way to get rid of the grid lines in the document after I've transferred it.
I am hiding the grid lines before I transfer but they show back up in docs to go.
Is there a way to change the grid line color in excel? I looked at help but I didn't see anyway.( that was obvious to me)
thanks

Re: Grid Lines
Do you save the workbook before transferring it?
You can change the gridline color for each worksheet separately.
In Excel 97-2003:
- Select Tools | Options...
- Activate the View tab.
- Select a color from the Color dropdown under Gridlines.
- Click OK.
In Excel 2007:
- Click the Office button.
- Click Excel Options.
- Click Advanced.
- Scroll down to the "Display options for this worksheet" section.
- Select a color from the Gridline color dropdown.
- Click OK.
In Excel 2010:
- Activate the File tab of the ribbon.
- Click Options.
- Click Advanced.
- Scroll down to the "Display options for this worksheet" section.
- Select a color from the Gridline color dropdown.
- Click OK.
