Pivot Table Data

Post by blair711 »

Hi y'all!

I am hoping you can assist me with my pivot table. I have a bar showing downtime and another bar showing pieces lost during down time. What I need to incorporate is another set of data that shows the total daily amount of pieces lost against the second bar graph. To better understand, I have included the file.

Thank you :)

Can you explain which data (range) you want to incorporate?

The data in column G against the data in Cell G17. I want the graph to basically state that the Orange bar(parts lost during the particular downtime) reflects the total lost amount for the day (G17)

Do you mean that you would want to display parts lost as a percentage of the total amount lost?

g17 will change weekly as will the parts lost. So somewhere on the graph we want it to show we lost 21 parts during this specific shutdown town of the total 128(g17) lost in a day.

Where can we find that in the workbook?

Column G holds the data for parts lost.(will change these numbers weekly.) and G17 is the total number of scraps lost for the day.

I am wondering if I can just make the orange bar say, Ex: 45/138 parts. or something like that.....

That is not possible. Pivot tables don't support custom data labels this way. Sorry!
