Is it possible to turn off the cell formatting popup. I have a number of cells that have a little popup in the right side of the cell. The message displayed is: The number in this cell is formatted as text or preceded by an apostrophe.

Select File > Options.
Select Formulas in the navigation pane on the left.
In the "Error checking rules" section, clear the check box "Numbers formatted as text or preceded by an apostrophe".
Click OK.
