Advanced Filter

I'm using VBA to perform an Advanced Filter and the results appear to be extracting more records than anticipated.

The extract contains all records whose name is LOG* (notice the wildcard). I just want records whose name is LOG.

Any suggestions?

Enter the following in the criteria cell:

'=LOG

The ' forces Excel to treat the value =LOG as text, not as a formula. You could also format the criteria cell as Text and enter

=LOG
