This may seem like a silly question but here it goes
I'm trying to determine the minute difference between these to values
A1 (22:30) A2 (0:22)
The result I'm looking for is 112 minutes but I get 22:08
0:22 is actually the midnight hour 22 minutes

Use the formula
=MOD(A2-A1,1)*1440
and set the number format of the cell with this formula to General.
=MOD(A2-A1,1)*1440
and set the number format of the cell with this formula to General.
