Excel VBAProject Reference

Post by jstevens »

Does anyone know the Excel 2011 VBAProject reference equivalent to Excel 2010's "IBM Notes Automation Classes" ie "notes32.tlb" file?

John

I don't have any experience with recent versions of Excel for Mac, but according to How to send Lotus Notes e-mail using Excel VBA ? the reference should be to "Lotus Notes Automation Classes". I don't know if that's up-to-date.
Best wishes,
Hans

Hans,

Thanks for the quick reply. I did see the post to your link.

When I look at the available references in the VBA Project I don't see "Lotus Notes Automation Classes" listed.

The reference list includes:
Visual Basic For Applications
MSoft Excel 14.0 Object Library
MSoft Forms 2.0 Object Library
Msoft Office 14.0 Object Library
MSoft Visual Basic for Applications Extensibility 5.3
OLE Automation

John

I have no idea how this works on a Mac - do you have a choice to install the VBA components of IBM Notes or to omit those?

Otherwise, you may have to select Browse... in the Tools > References dialog, and to try and locate the Notes type library, but again. I don't know how that works on a Mac.
Best wishes,
Hans

Hans,

I had tried browsing for additional references prior to posting but that didn't help. I'll keep on searching on-line.
