Hi,
Is there an add-in or code available to merge changes from a copy of an original workbook into the master original workbook? I am not referring to sharing the workbook and using the compare and merge feature (which is dependent on shared workbooks). The workbooks I am referring to does not have the shared status active. I just need to directly update cells from the copy of a workbook into the original workbook wherever there is a difference, and as a bonus, highlight the cells to see where changes have taken place.
Any free add-in or code that someone knows about would be great...TX.

See Compare and Merge unshared workbooks having exactly Same file structure.
Ron de Bruin's free add-in RDBMerge looks like it has a slightly different purpose, but it's worth taking a look.

TX Hans.
Odd how I did not get to that thread as my Google searches brought back various irrelevant hits (even from the Mr Excel forum) but not the one you refer to.
The macros in there look relevant. I'm sure it will do 90% of what I need and I can tweak them to do the other 10%.
TX for the find.
