Good Afternoon All,
I'm trying to find a way to include conditional formatting (CF) into a formula. The formula is with the IF function [=IF(D25<3,IF('Summarization Form'!B8="","","Y"),IF('Summarization Form'!B8="","","N"))] with coloring the N red when greater than 3 using CF. I do this with the individual cells however not inclusive as part of the formula. The CF in the ribbon is greyed out for adding it into the formula. Is it possible to add CF into a formula? If so how do I crack this nut?

Re: Formula including conditional formatting
Welcome to Eileen's Lounge!
Is your question related to Formula that yields colors to "yes" and "no"?
Formulas cannot apply conditional formatting, you have to set the conditional formatting separately.

Re: Formula including conditional formatting
The opposite can apply though...
You CAN use a formula in conditional formatting, but not the other way around (as was confirmed).
