VBA Password

I locked my excel VBA document with a password and cant remember what it is.. for some reason I wrote it down and i must have written the wrong password.. is it possible to unlock?

Is your workbook a .xls file or a .xlsm/.xlsb file? Excel uses much stronger encryption for the latter.

Thanks. Try the procedure described in Unlock a VBA password protected Excel file, Use a copy of the workbook, not the original, so that if you damage the file during the procedure, you'll still have the original.
