5.5 x 8.5 booklet

Post by MelanieB »

I was given a document and told it needs to be printed on 5.5 x 8.5 paper, double sided, spiral bound (not folded - so I'm assuming they will cut the paper in the middle to get the separate pages). It's not long, maybe 20 pages.

I thought I knew what I was doing - I changed it to landscape 2-columns, so each page was a column. Hmmm that didn't work.
When I printed it out and cut the pages in 1/2, they were all out whack. So I googled to see what I need to do. And, the responses sounded so complicated!

I think I'm overthinking this. Or underthinking it! Anyway, can you point me in the right direction? Should I be using linking text boxes - that's a niggling voice in the back of my brain saying "linked text boxes"...

Not asking for it to be done for me, but point me in the right direction.

Thank you!

Figures - should have looked a bit longer before hollering for the life line. I just found a site that describes it perfectly (http://www.groovypost.com/howto/microso ... word-2010/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;).
Soooo.. I'm off and running now. Thanks!
