TOC from bullets

Post by Lost Paul »

Hi,

I've been given a training document, that has all the instructions built into various bullet levels.
I was hoping to create a Table Of Contents from that.
But that doesn't seem to be an option.

Does anyone know a way of doing this (other than manually)?

Cheers

Have the bullets been applied manually, or does each bullet level use its own style?

They do show up in the list of styles.

OK, but do your bulleted paragraphs use those styles, or do they use the default paragraph style?

Ah, the main headings use "Subtitle + Calibri a"

OK - got it.
Changed the 'styles' & re-applied the bullets.
All done - thank you

You should now be able to create a TOC based on styles. Click Options... in the Custom Table of Contents dialog.
