Another 23 years down the drain … I reckon since I sprang to the forefront of technology with Word97.
Twenty Three years - almost a quarter of a century -
impressing hundreds, possibly thousands of novices with my mastery of Word97 by holding down the Shift key while clicking on the “File” menu to show – – how I gain access to the SaveAll command.
After yesterday afternoon’s four o’clock blizzard, the penny dropped. Customize the File menu once and for all by dragging the SaveAll command into the File menu.
I wouldn’t mind, but since 2003 I have been correcting the Format menu after re-installation by dragging the proper “Style” command to override that stupid incomprehensible pane on the right hand side.
Auxiliary question: How do I express raised to the power 23 in Emoticons?

As a small consolation (?), you may be pleased to know that the Save All command is still available in the ribbon versions of Word:
