One neat trick that I've learned over the years is keeping two rows in a table by applying the "keep with next" option to the first cell of the first row.
However, this trick doesn't seem to work if the first cell of the first row is a vertically merged cell -- i.e., I'm trying to keep three rows together, where the first cells of the first two rows are merged together. Is there a work-around for this?
How do you keep a table row with merged cell with next row?

Select the first two rows in their entirety and turn on "Keep with next".
Best wishes,
