Office 2013 – Outlook email mail merges to include attachmen

Apologies I didn't know to create this in the Word or Outlook board.

Is there a way to create an email mail merge and include an attachment eg word document attachment

Users would like this functionality.

It’s not available in Office 2007. The process is very laborious and users have to create each email & manually insert the attachment. 200 emails later this can be tiring.

I’ve checked Office 2013, and it seems not to be available.

Two methods to do the merge
1. In Word use the Mail Merge Wizard, click Mailings, click Start Mail Merge, click Email Messages

2. In Word document, in the Quick Access Toolbar add button Send to Mail Recipient
This is more individual for each document – therefore this isn’t applicable.

Any suggestions on how best this can be achieved.

I am aware of this excellent add-in by Graham Mayor that has the ability to provide mail merge with attachments (and more). If you benefit from it you can choose to donate towards Graham's time and expertise. I am not sure what Graham's policy is towards using this in a business context???? I would recommend that you contact him and find out if you plan to use it in this way.

Either method - looks like customisation is required.

The link works fine for me - I've just clicked on the link in the post and the page opened up as it should. You may have had a connection issue.

Hi Diana,

It's probably a firewall setting on your network. If you are accessing it from a work PC this is most likely.
I cannot access it via my work PC, but when I get home on my wifi, it works fine.
The address points to a Onedrive account.

Yes your right. At work I cant access the urls due to being in the cloud, and work has blocked cloud site.
