TOC design

Post by Rudi »

Hi,

Is it possible to modify the TOC as follows:

The TOC shows heading levels 1 and 2
For heading 1 levels it must have the Header entry and a tab leader and page number
For heading 2 levels it must only have the Header entry (no tab leader or page number)

If so..how do I do this. TX.
Regards,
Rudi

If your absence does not affect them, your presence didn't matter.

:bingo:

Sorry...as per usual the lounge magic works again. Post a question and have it inspire one to find an answer...
Here is the answer for the benefit of anyone else.

Use the switch: { TOC \n "2-3" \h \z \u }

Answer found here, under the heading: Omitting page numbers

Rudi

See Field codes: TOC (Table of Contents) field for an overview of the available switches for the TOC field.
Best wishes,
Hans

Nice summary, TX.
There are some nice options to enable some tweaking on the TOC.

:whisper: I like tweaking...only problem is sometimes it breaks!
