[Office 365] "There was a problem sending the command ..."

I get the following error when double-clicking a word file: "There was a problem sending the command to the program", despite having recently repaired Office 365 for an issue with Excel.

Any suggestion for this?

Hi New Daddy,

I found a thread at answers.microsoft.com that provides a solution for this issue.
It involves a change of a value in the registry.

The original thread that discusses this issue is found here, (but look at the last reply of Doug Robbins at the end of the thread.)
