Word replace special chars

Post by agibsonsw »

Hello. Word 2010.

I believe there are more characters/ symbols that can be typed in the find/replace dialog than are made apparent within Word. Is it possible to create expressions that would replace

EURM 400 // 400 could be any number 1-1000; with,

EUR 400m

Click More >> in the Replace dialog.
Tick the check box "Use wildcards".
In the "Find what" box, enter: (EURM )([0-9]{1,4})
In the "Replace with box, enter: EUR \2m
Click "Find Next" or "Replace All"
Best wishes,
Hans
