VERY Large paper size

Post by BobSullivan »

I am trying to set up a Word document to print on a full sheet of paper (US measurements 22 x 33). I am not currently connected to a printer that will print that size, but want to take the finished document to a printing firm and have them print it. Word will not allow me to set a document size larger than 22 x 22 inches. Does anyone know of a workaround to allow this type of document setup?

The 22" by 22" limit in Word is "hard", there is no setting to change it.

Do you have Microsoft Publisher? It's suitable for printing posters.
Otherwise, you might try LibreOffice.org (or OpenOffice.org) - its Writer application is compatible with Word but can handle larger page sizes, as far as I know.
Best wishes,
Hans

Thanks Hans,

I did some digging, and I do have Publisher, so I will try that route. I figure with all the magic that happens here in the lounge, someone might have some techniqaue to get around this limit. :)
