I have a Word 2010 document with many comments. The author wishes to send a version of it to another user without comments--that is, with all comments deleted, not merely hidden. Other than stepping through the comments one by one and hitting Delete Comments, is there a built-in way to delete ALL comments?
If not, VBA needed! Thanks.

Activate the Review tab of the ribbon.
In the Comments group, click the lower half of the Delete button.
Select "Delete All Comments in Document" from the dropdown menu.

Ah ha! I just always clicked the big Delete button, and didn't think to try the dropdown. Perfect; thanks.
