why i can't install ms office project ?

I'm trying to install ms office project pro, but I'm getting this error :

I think it's part of Office 365 but don't quote me on that. Meanwhile, does this page relate to your problem? If so it might help:

Does this machine a trial version of Office 365 installed?
If so uninstall it and then try installing from your source.

Where did you get this copy of MS Project?

What versions of Windows is on the system that you are trying to install Project on?

i have windows 10 pro, a friend downloaded the ms project from the internet.

So you do NOT own this copy of Project.
Do you have the key code to go along with the copy and where di you get it?

my friend has the key, he gave the installation files to try on my systems, because he was not able to install it
it's not going to the step where it asks for the key! it gets this issue from the first step. do you believe it related to the key? we didn't even get the window which asks for the key!

but for the feature, what to do in order to have ms office applications and if needed to get ms project we don't get such issue? any advice, please?

Either install the MSI (installer) version of both Office and Project, or the click-to-run version of both Office and Project.

You can combine click-to-run Office 2016 with the MSI version of Project 2013 (or 2010), or vice versa.

so let me rephrase my question: what you mean by install the msi version and when you get a media how you identify its msi or click to run version?

If the extension of the installation file is msi, it is the MSI version.
