Using Office 2003 On Win 7 Machine

If I want to use Office 2003 Professional on an upgraded Windows 7 machine do I have to have it installed before the April 8, 2014 deadline in order to get all the Office 2003 updates to date?

As far as I know, all existing updates for Office 2003 (and Windows XP) will still be available from Microsoft/Windows Update, but no new updates will be released after April 8, even if new security risks are discovered.
