OK Hans I just tried your last suggestion to get a little space at the top of the label and of course it worked great. I did first have to set the entire document's "space before" to 0 to get all the merged fields. Then after I placed all the merged fields in the first label I set that 3 points for the top line of the label. Sure seems like a lot more to remember to do using this merge feature in Word 2010 then I ever had to do in Word 2003. Actually if you hadn't helped me I'm not sure I would ever have figured this one out. Now all I have to do is remember all this when I do have to create a new merge in the future. Problem is I don't do it all that often but I am printing all this out and trying to file it where I'll be able to find it in my desk in addition to being able to find it once again here in this forum.

So again, thanks.
