Save download to ???
Just seen an article in a ComputerActive mag about converting Word files to PDF for attaching to emails and note that when the "Save" option appears there is no way to select the destination. Is it possible to tick some box to determine where downloads will be save to? Regards Dave.

I think Firefox saves to its default Downloads folder. Internet Explorer gives you a Save As option.
Best wishes,

Firefox is very flexible. The default behaviour is to save to the default downloads folder, but you can move this location or set it to prompt you every time.HansV wrote:I think Firefox saves to its default Downloads folder...

As an aside, there are many apps for creating PDFs and you can find suggestions in Rudi's 'best free apps' thread on the 'Other Apps' board.
I'm not familiar with the one Dave is downloading, I use PDFCreator.

Modern versions of Word (i.e. 2007 & 2010) do a reasonable job of saving documents as PDF.
