Today I suddenly started having heaps of Temp.data, Temp1.data, Temp2.data -- up to Temp37.data files being written to C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local folder. Each one is 1 GB in size. So far I have had 37 of these written today. I have had to increase the size of my C: partition twice today already.
Anyone have any idea what is writting these files? I want to delete them, but would like to know what is casuing it first.

I found the culprit.
Using one of the best tools around - 'Unlocker', I discovered that it is Acronis TrueImage Home 2012 that is causing this. I can recall about 10 years ago Acronis totally stuffed my C drive causing a complete re-install. Looks like they are reverting to their bad old ways!
