I just can't get my mind in gear today.
I downloaded a program and went to install it. It said I needed Adobe Flash in order to run and gave a link to DL it. Did so but when it ran I get this message that it can't install because the publisher has been blocked from running on my machine. See1st screenshot.
I click on the help link and get this "topic not found" message. See SS2
i went directly to the Adobe site DL and still got the same thing?
For whatever reason, I'm drawing a blank so far as fixing this and installing Adobe.
Checked My MS firewall, Av and malware stuff and no bells are ringing.??

Re: Can't install Adobe Flash
Before you do anything: are you sure you don't have Flash Player?
If you don't, I wouldn't trust the file that you mention - it's not filename of the standard installer. Go to this Adobe page and scroll down to the "Install in a firewall proxy server environment" section. You'll find direct download links for the legitimate installers.

Oh, and if you still have problems:
Start Internet Explorer.
Select Tools | Internet Options...
Activate the Content tab.
Click the Publishers button (in the Certificates section).
Activate the Untrusted Publishers tab.
If you see a certificate for Adobe in the list, select it and click Remove.
Close the dialogs and Internet Explorer.
Try to run the installer again.

YES.......this second post had the answer. There was Adobe sitting in the UNtrusted publishers list. Removed it and install went fine.HansV wrote:Oh, and if you still have problems:
