Installing updates taking forever

Post by jmt356 »

If when closing down Windows the option is to “Install updates and shut down” and you do so, and Windows takes an extraordinarily long time to install one of the updates, and “Installing update 9 of 9 | Do not remove power or shut down” has been on the screen for 10 hours, would you force shut down?
Regards,
