Send To

I want to add Send To, Copy to, and Any Folder to my Send To menu. I've been unsucessfull accomplishing this task. I need help, so here I am.

Will someone show me how to do this, it will be greatly appreciated.

The following steps involve editing the registry. Be careful!

Click the Start button.
In the Search box, enter regedit then press Enter.
If Windows asks for permission, click Yes.
Navigate to HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AllFilesystemObjects\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers.

Select ContextMenuHandlers.
Select Edit | New | Key.
Name the new key Copy To, then click Enter.
In the right-hand pane, double click the (Default) entry.
Copy/paste the following string into the Value data box:

{C2FBB630-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}

Click OK.

Select ContextMenuHandlers in the left hand pane again.
Select Edit | New | Key.
Name the new key Move To, then click Enter.
In the right-hand pane, double click the (Default) entry.
Copy/paste the following string into the Value data box:

{C2FBB631-2971-11D1-A18C-00C04FD75D13}

Click OK.

You should now have entries Copy to Folder... and Move to Folder... in your right-click menu in Windows Explorer.

I've always used Windows Explorer to add things to the Send To menu. It's located here...
C:\Documents and Settings\Your Username\SendTo
Just left-click, drag and drop what you want in the menu.

Yep, that works well for specific items.
BTW Gloria uses Windows 7, where the path of the Send To folder is

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\SendTo

But that doesn't help if you want to add items that display a dialog such as Copy to Folder... and Move to Folder...

This, from the How-ToGeek should be what you are looking for. Accomplishes the same as HansV post, except the dirty work is done for you. Just download and merge the file.

Works like a champ, I've been using it for months.

Send To Toys, that's the one I was looking for. Would you believe I just got around to installing it?
I had it when I ran Windows 98, when I upgraded to Windows XP it wasn't compatible (if my memory serves me, I believe that's the way it was).
