On the wife's Windows 7 machine there is NO "My Documents" listed under her users account name. It is in the "!@#$%^&*" Libraries area.
How do we get it so it appears in the REAL place under user name?
Just logged into the machine with a different account and that account user has the "My Documents" listed under the user name.
My documents is not showing

I always get to my Documents folder from Libraries...
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Best wishes,

Re: My documents is not showing
Yes, BUT we do NOT want to use these *&&^^%%$ libraries. We are tryin to use "Computer" heading in Windows Explorer.
On all other machines and user accounts there is a "My Documents" listed under every users name, but the one prime one she uses.
The default path is set to some weird folder in all Office 2003 apps.
When ever Windows Explorer is opened, and one browses to the user path and wants to get to My Documents of her account, and NOT in the %^&* library area it is NOT there.
She was using the "Library" and there she was seeing all of the files from all of her machines and did not know which copy of the file she was in and looking for. So we decided to bypass the "Library" and use good old Windows Explorer, but now there is the problem, no My Documents folder.

Re: My documents is not showing
Does the first reply in How to link My Documents folder to the logical Documents folder in Windows 7 help?
Best wishes,
