Slow start up Win 7

I've already tried the built in checks like ScanDisk and Disk Check and nothing turned up there. I only suspect MSE as the culprit because it looks like something is doing a virus\malware check or something only on start up cycle. That's why I thought thre might be an option to disable that check within the softwate...didn't see anything a reference to scheduled tasks, which were not eneabled. I DId try to uninstall MSE temporaraly and booted up without it but at least for that time, I didn't really see any change in boot time. Didn't see anything unusual in the Event log but then again I think it is written come strange foreign language, so my patience is rather thin looking at that. Onward to more investigations.
