CD Partition Scheme

Post by jstevens »

I have a WD USB 1TB drive with a CD Partition Scheme on it. What I would like to do is delete the partition entirely as I have no need for it or the data on the USB drive. I know one can hide the UDF partition but that is not what I would like to do. The partition is relatively small but it is the principal of the thing.

I have tried DISKPART and software named Rufus but neither worked.

Your suggestions are appreciated.
Regards,
John

Hi John, open 'Computer' right click your drive and select 'format.

George,

The file system is "UDF" not "NTFS". Right-clicking on the drive letter does not show a selection to format the drive in question.

Try using MiniTool Partition Manager. There is a free version for personal use.
