Microsoft Update failures

Post by RonH »

Just noticed this:
http://www.infoworld.com/t/microsoft-wi ... 331-248582" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Sounds all very complicated ... with millions of Windows users not even knowing about this then very few will take action to remove the offending updates.
Should I/have you :scratch:
If deemed 'essential' then is it just a simple matter of removing the mentioned updates or does one still need to 'play around' with the other issues?

The only reason we have the 4th dimension of Time is so that everything does not happen at once.

Also see Microsoft Security Bulletin Re-Release. Please post replies in that thread; I'm locking this one to prevent duplication.

(By the way, I've rebooted Windows 8.1 several times without problems after installing the August 12, 2014 updates)
Best wishes,
Hans
