How do I change the layout on my 'Downloads' folder to the more traditional layout as shown on the 'Personal' folder?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi,

Right click on the Downloads folder and choose Properties
In the dialog that appears, go to the Customise Tab (at the top)
Then choose "General Items" in the Optimise Folder for drop down.

Rudi

If your absence does not affect them, your presence didn't matter.

Remark: you have to right-click Downloads in C:\Users\W. Donald Wells.
If you right-click Downloads in Favorites, you get the properties of the shortcut to Downloads, not of the Downloads folder itself.
Best wishes,
Hans
